Anna Jackson is the General Manager of Customers, Strategy and Innovation at SA Water Corporation, a publicly-owned utility which has more than $10 billion in water and wastewater assets, spanning metropolitan, regional and remote areas and servicing up to 1.7 million South Australians every day, with a mix of River Murray, reservoir catchment, ground and desalinated water. SA Water is also considered leaders in energy management, generating biogas to provide energy to wastewater treatment plants, and installing 500,000 solar panels across the state to run its energy-intensive infrastructure.
Anna leads the team responsible for water quality, water security and environmental sustainability, engaging and communicating with customers and communities, and transforming social and economic insights into business strategy to improve customer experience.
With more than 25 years of experience in both Australia and internationally in corporate and government sectors, Anna brings her background in market and business development, stakeholder and community engagement and journalism with her passion for international development, in particular access to water and sanitation services, to the Australian Water Partnership.
Anna is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. Prior to joining SA Water, Anna was General Manager for Business Development, Asia-Pacific with Coffey International Development and prior to that Group Markets and Communications Director, oversighting US, UK and Asia Pacific operations.
